Cooch's Bridge - Real Haunts in Newark DE

  • Newark, DE
This historic site was the location of the first battle of the American Revolution at which the Stars and Stripes was flown. Local legend says that a British soldier got his head shot off during battle, and he still appears here to this day on foggy, moonless nights as a headless apparition.
